"They urged Him to stay with them..."[v. 40]
After the townspeople heard Jesus they wanted Him
to stay with them. Christian fellowship is about
spending time with our Lord and each other.
Once the Gospel has been shared, the natural
outcome is for those who've heard to want to
spend time together. Fellowship begins at its
source and flows freely to those around it.
In addition to worship services and Bible classes,
Trinity's members enjoy gathering at fellowship
meals, picinics, school events, as well as preparing
and serving our annual sausage supper on the second
Sunday of November each year. We thank God
for this opportunity to share His love in Jesus
Christ, and invite you to spend more time
with us at Trinity.
Then we can join together witht the Samritan
woman's friends and neighbors in saying:
"...now we have heard for ourselves and
we know that this man [Jesus] really is
the Savior of the world."[v. 42]
